Position Summary:
Are you a quality-focused professional looking to make a real impact? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Quality Manager to join our team and drive excellence across our organization.
As our Quality Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards. Your expertise in ISO13485, ISO9001, and SQF standards, combined with your knowledge of regulatory requirements, HACCP, and GMP standards, will be invaluable in maintaining our commitment to quality.
A few keys to success in this role are; auditing experience, the ability to write appropriate proposals to assure the highest percentage of success, and the ability to effectively communicate with people on all levels. This communication includes successfully and effectively communicating with plant personnel and people from the governing regulatory bodies such as the FDA, etc.
In this pivotal role, you will lead our Quality Department, overseeing a talented team of professionals. Your strong leadership skills and hands-on approach will be essential in guiding your team to success. You will have the opportunity to implement improvements and ensure compliance with our Quality Management Systems, making a tangible difference in our organization.
As our ISO Management Representative and SQF Practitioner, you will be the driving force behind our quality initiatives. Your expertise in quality core tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, and DFA will be instrumental in enhancing our processes and products. Your knowledge of tool and die, plastic processing, and measurement tools and techniques will further strengthen our quality capabilities.
Professional Profile:
We are seeking a proactive problem-solver who can analyze quality data, negotiate quality agreements with customers and suppliers, and act as the voice of the company and our customers.
Auditing experience and report writing are highly important in this role.
Ideally, we would like to see five plus years in such a role in a manufacturing environment.
Additionally, we would like to see someone who is a degreed individual with any applicable certifications being a welcome bonus.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a proven track record of success in quality management, particularly in the food packaging and/or medical device industries, we want to hear from you. Experience in internal auditing and being the “management representative” is highly desirable, and exposure to plastics is a plus.
Your ability to verify and implement new or changed customer requirements will be crucial in maintaining our strong customer relationships.
