CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate would possess a grinding maintenance/service background. However, we will consider a person with other CNC machine tool experience. To be successful in this position, the candidate should have the following:
- Formal education/training in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of CNC Machine Tool Products.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in the troubleshooting, installation, and repair of CNC Machine Tools Products. Formal CNC technical training will be accepted in lieu of work experience.
- Must have strong Mechanical, Electrical troubleshooting, and repair experience.
- Demonstrated application and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers, peers, builder representatives, and suppliers.
- Ability to participate as a member of a team.
- Ability to use a PC and job-related software/programs for programming and documentation/record keeping. Basic computer skills (Microsoft office).
- Siemens (and Fanuc) control experience is a plus.
- Availability to travel within and outside the US. The position is travel intensive and although most of the travelling will be done within the US, the technician might occasionally travel to Canada and Mexico. Additionally, several visits to our European headquarters are foreseen for training purposes.
